About veo3.xyz

A free, privacy-focused tool to help creators unlock the full potential of Google DeepMind's Veo 3 AI video model

Our Mission

We built veo3.xyz to democratize access to professional AI video creation. Veo 3 is incredibly powerful, but writing effective prompts requires understanding cinematic vocabulary and structured thinking. The gap between "I have an idea" and "I have a usable prompt" is where most creators get stuck.

Our tool bridges that gap by guiding you through the prompt creation process with the same terminology that professional filmmakers use. We don't just give you a text box — we provide a structured framework that ensures you consider every critical element: scene composition, subject details, camera movement, visual style, lighting conditions, emotional mood, and native audio.

By making professional-grade prompt engineering accessible to everyone, we hope to empower a new generation of storytellers, marketers, educators, and creators to bring their visions to life through AI video.

About the Model

What is Veo 3?

Veo 3 is Google DeepMind's most advanced video generation model, announced at Google I/O 2025 and released later that year. It represents a significant leap forward in AI video generation, producing high-definition, physically realistic video clips up to 30 seconds long from text prompts.

What sets Veo 3 apart from all previous models — including its predecessor Veo 2 and competitors like Runway, Pika, and Sora — is its ability to natively generate synchronized audio. Dialogue, sound effects, ambient environmental sound, and music can all be described in the prompt, and the model produces audio that is temporally aligned with the on-screen action.

Writing effective Veo 3 prompts requires understanding its vocabulary. The model was trained on a vast corpus of professionally annotated film and video footage. Its internal representations align strongly with cinematography vocabulary that human editors, directors, and camera operators use. Terms like "tracking shot," "golden hour," "depth of field," "film grain," "anamorphic lens flare," and "rack focus" each correspond to precise visual patterns the model has learned.

Generic descriptions like "a beautiful scene" or "cool video" give the model little signal to work with, resulting in generic, uninspired output. Specific cinematic language gives the model precise visual targets to hit. This is why our tool exists — to help you speak Veo 3's language fluently.

The best Veo 3 prompts describe four layers: what is happening (scene), who or what is in frame (subject), how it is shot (camera and style), and how it feels (lighting, mood, audio). Our generator structures all four layers for you and assembles them into the exact format Veo 3 responds to best.

  • Native Audio Generation

Veo 3 is the first AI video model to generate synchronized dialogue, sound effects, and ambient audio alongside the video — no separate audio pipeline needed. The audio is temporally aligned with on-screen action, creating immersive, cohesive experiences.

  • Cinematic Quality

Trained on professional film footage, Veo 3 understands camera movements, lens optics, depth of field, and lighting in the same language as human cinematographers. It produces physically realistic motion, accurate physics, and natural human behavior.

  • Precise Prompt Control

Unlike earlier models, Veo 3 follows detailed natural-language prompts accurately — subject descriptions, emotional tone, aspect ratio, and duration are all respected. Complex multi-layered prompts are interpreted with nuance rather than simplified.

  • Extended Duration

Generate clips up to 30 seconds in a single generation — significantly longer than competing models limited to 4-8 seconds. This enables storytelling with proper pacing, character development, and narrative arcs.

  • Multiple Aspect Ratios

Support for 16:9 (widescreen), 9:16 (vertical for TikTok/Reels), 1:1 (square), and 4:3 (classic TV). Choose the format that matches your platform and creative vision.

  • Production-Ready API

Access Veo 3 through Google VideoFX (consumer-friendly) or the Vertex AI API (developer-focused with programmatic control, batch processing, and production integration capabilities).

Why Use Our Tool?

Built by creators, for creators. Every feature is designed to make your workflow faster, your prompts better, and your results more consistent.

Structured Prompting

Our tool breaks down prompt creation into logical layers: scene, subject, camera, style, lighting, mood, and audio. Each layer builds on the previous one, ensuring no critical element is overlooked.

Real-time Preview

See your prompt build instantly as you fill in each field, with quality scoring to help you improve. The prompt quality analyzer identifies missing elements and suggests improvements.

Privacy First

Everything runs in your browser. No account needed, no data sent to our servers, your prompts stay yours. Session history is stored locally and never transmitted.

Style Dictionary

Access 50+ tested cinematic keywords organized by category. Each keyword is a proven trigger that produces consistent, predictable visual effects in Veo 3.

Developer Friendly

Export prompts as JSON for programmatic use, share via permalink URLs, and integrate with your existing workflows. Perfect for teams and production pipelines.

Platform Agnostic

Use your generated prompts with any Veo 3 interface — Google VideoFX, Vertex AI API, or future platforms. The prompt format is optimized for Veo 3's specific architecture.

How It Works

Client-Side Architecture: veo3.xyz runs entirely in your browser using React and Next.js. No data is sent to our servers — all prompt generation, history storage, and state management happens locally on your device.

Session Storage:Your prompt history (configurable up to 50 entries) and settings are stored in your browser's session storage and local storage. This means your data persists between sessions but never leaves your device.

Prompt Assembly:Our tool takes your inputs across multiple fields and assembles them into a structured prompt format optimized for Veo 3's architecture. The format follows best practices learned from testing and community feedback.

Quality Scoring: The prompt quality analyzer evaluates your prompt against a set of criteria derived from effective Veo 3 prompts: scene detail, subject description, camera specification, style definition, lighting conditions, mood clarity, and audio description. It provides real-time feedback to help you improve.

Share Functionality: When you share a prompt, we encode the entire prompt state into a URL hash. This allows others to load your exact prompt configuration by clicking the link, without any server-side storage or database.
